![]() Use case: GCP is amazing for micro services (like hosting websites, software applications, ect.), it has by far the best scaling capabilities out of most if not ALL major Cloud Service Providers.Use case: Microsoft Azure is more or less used for hosting Virtual Machines and enterprise solutions. And not have to give out your personal phone number Use case: personally I don’t recommend them for VPN use because of the accrued costs, but I’ve setup VoIP, which I then forward all inbound calls to my personal phone, and any additional phones I’d like to forward too (basically gives you a/many 1-800 number(s) you can give to customers, clients, ect.Price = $0-100/m (depending on services required). Also there’s quite honestly so much more you can do with just the $30/m plan as well (host your website, forum, blog, and many many more things) Use case: my no.1 pick for self hosted VPN on a server you and only you have access too.Price = $30/m avg (4GB RAM, 2CPU’s, daily backups).Price = $60-160 ( prices may vary due to global chip shortage).I’ll explain all of the individual parts and what roles they play in the network architecture below. So basically, the more layers you have, the tighter the security, although it comes at the cost of: time & money, as well as maintenance (although most of it can be fairly automated, which is my area of expertise).
